Report of the Peer Review of the National Statistical System

The peer review of the National Statistical System (NSS) of Botswana is one of a series of such reviews carried out by the African Union Commission (AUC), as part of the PanAfrican (PAS) Statistics Programme in 2018- 2019, funded by the EU through Eurostat. All African Union Member States were invited to express interest in having a peer review under the Programme of which 14 countries replied positively and will be included in this round of peer reviews. The peer reviews are prepared by the Statistics Division (AUSTAT) in the Department of Economic Affairs at the AUC, and Expertise France, which is assisting AUSTAT on the management of PAS Programme.
