Electronic Waste Management Plan for AUC Projects – August 2025

This Electronic Waste Management Plan (EWMP) includes the policies, regulations and procedures
to be followed during the implementation of the three projects (1) Harmonizing and Improving
Statistics in West and Central Africa (HISWACA – SOP 1) project, (2) Harmonizing and Improving
Statistics in West Africa (HISWA) and (3) Eastern Africa Regional Statistics Program-for-Results
(EARSPfR). The EWMP sets out a formal system by which the Project Implementation Team (PIT)
in the African Union Commission (AUC) will manage and implement the existing AUC policies to
manage the potential e-waste generated during project implementation.
