AU - HISWA HISWACA Aide Memoire - ISM July 2025

The World Bank conducted an Implementation Support Mission (ISM) from 02 to 06 June 2025 at the STATAFRIC office in Tunis, covering both the Harmonizing and Improving Statistics in West Africa Project (HISWA - P169265) and the Harmonizing and Improving Statistics in Western and Central Africa Project (HISWACA-SOP1 - P178497). The mission aimed to assess the implementation progress of the two projects and address key project management dimensions, including technical execution, procurement, financial oversight, and environmental and social safeguards. This Aide Memoire presents the mission’s main findings and outlines the agreed follow-up actions required to improve project delivery and accelerate progress toward achieving the intended outcomes.
